Vilamoura is a purpose designed resort situated in the Algarve
region of Portugal. It covers some 2,000 hectares of land,
with its southern border lined by a long, sandy beach. The
resort offers visitors many attractions and facilities.
Vilamoura has four championship golf courses. The Tenisgolfmar
apartments are situated on the edge of one of them, with bedroom
views overlooking the greens.
The Tenisfolfmar apartments are also situated opposite the
Vilamoura Tenis Club complex, a first class facility with
12 courts.
Clay pigeon shooting, horse riding and lawn bowling are also
available in Vilamoura. There is also a sports and leisure
centre with an indoor pool.
There are 2 medium sized supermarkets within a 3-minute walk
from the Tenisgolfmar apartments, with a larger supermarket
in Vilamoura's commercial centre, where you will also find
banks and a post office. Other facilities within Vilamoura
itself are nightclubs, discos, restaurants, cinema, and an
international casino.
